It is a simple, cost-effective and efficacious treatment helpful in many lifestyle disorders. Mud is used as a medicine for ages as various references are found available in ancient texts indicating its therapeutic uses that are highly useful in the treatment of various disease conditions. It also cools & relaxes the body, mind and soul with its moisture.
Why use mud therapy?
Out of the five constituent elements of our universe mud (earth) plays an important role in our holistic well being. The dark color of mud helps in absorbing light of different colors conveying them to the body, giving it therapeutic properties. Also, its shape and consistency can be modified with ease, just by changing the water content, which makes it easy to use and cost-effective.
